"My Love Affair with Art"
artist talk by Olga Bliznetsova, Russian, has been
living and painting in Singapore for the last 7
years. Her recent series of paintings reflect her
love for tropical nature and featuring some of the
Singapore’s landmark landscapes. Olga will share
her story how she has become an artist, what
challenges she has been facing and what keeps
her going on the chosen path.

"Hello/Goodbye" Music Concert
Seed Festival Singapore
Organised by Artsolute, sponsored by my art
space. Hold at pavilion garden of My Art Space.
Date fri, 30 Dec 2011, 8-10pm. A platform
intended for emerging artists of all fields, from
films to visual arts, to music and theatre.
More than 60 art and music lovers have come to
support local original music.
2 local band performed in this concert were

Seyra, a singer-songwriter, whose music speaks of
the peculiarities and insecurities of youth, hope,
existence and love in between. With a unique
songwriting style and soulful voice, her indie
folk-pop tunes explore a gamut of emotions
through voice and melody. With her array of
original works reminiscent of Yuna (KL), she and
supporting outfit Trip Circle are becoming the
next local act to watch out for.

Patriot, a young alternative rock band consisting
of Ben (guitars), Amelene (bass), Ghafar (drums)
and Fadhly (vocals and rhythm guitar). Their
covers include music influences from the 70s to
21st century rock music, and this two-year old
group have begun to create their own originals.

Photos Talk by Simon Wong
Hold at our art palates cafe on 21 Dec 2012.
Based on the photos taken in his recent trip to
Vietnam. Simon Wong is an award winning
photographer based in Melbourne.

The event was open to the public and provided
useful to those who are keen to pick up tips on
travel photography or planning a trip to Vietnam.
The talk has touched on equipment and photo
techniques and location shooting.
