Beauty in
naked honesty
Aesthetic preferences are greatly
influenced by individual perceptions.
beautiful' or 'universally ugly' object.
Is a Jackson Pollock painting a glorious
masterpiece, guided by heightened
realms of intuition, or simply made out of
careless and crude splatters?
Let me quote Richard Tuttle: 'Beauty and
the imagination have no place in art.'
Art should be true to the artist's vision,
an honest output or revelation of his
soul, sub-consciousness, feelings or
thoughts.
It is neither about creating beauty for the
sake of it, nor is it about disfiguring
something for shock value.
Beauty is to be found in naked honesty. It
is sufficient that the artist remains true to
himself or herself.

Art Cafe at My Art Space opens now !
Now I am unafraid to use Flash to shoot. No more
keeping my flash in bag for just filling up the
compartment. Now I know the tricks to control the
light where I want and come out result is closely to
magazine shots.
I did really enjoy your teaching style, cosy, free to
ask any moment. It just liked meeting with some new
friends and chitchatting for a day.
The best is we had the equipment to try &
commented on the result. Moreover, you had given
us a lot of insightful tips on using the equipment
which is not published. All is come out from your
personal experience.
As you said, you would get a level up after your
workshop. Yes, it really did. Now I can even play
around with lights, not only camera and lens.
