Learning Philosophy

Art is an innate call. It enriches life.
Everyone is uniquely creative but many of us have to give up our passion in art
due to other commitments due to “practical” reasons.
We strongly believe spiritual fulfillment is also an important counterpart of our life balance
and there is a strong need to fulfill such dream from many of us.
While we recognize that many of us will not end up pursuing careers as working artists,
we operate under the assumption that everyone is fully an artist while in my art space.

We believe everyone can learn, enjoy and appreciate art or become an great artist
through enough fundamental training, exposure and sharing opportunity to various ideas and concept
from classical to contemporary art issue .
Professional art learning is not only restricted to formal art academy or art institutions.
Infinite learning changes are available to us from greater ideas exchanges , culture and exhibition exposure
due to highly development of internet technology and globalization that bring us closer to each others and art.

The biggest challenge of our individual art development is not solely determined by our experience or academic
performance in art academy, but more importantly the ability we have to inject our life experiences
and make art as continuous, consistent efforts and joys of us in rest of our life,
which My Art Space strive to achieve-make art as lifestyle, lifeartstyle.

We believe that the serious pursuit of art practice has benefits that are important,
regardless of what career paths we eventually take.
In an age of commercial media over-stimulation, art teaches us to slow down and take note of our senses.
It teaches us to take aesthetic pleasure in the products of human creativity and to reflect on that pleasure.
It teaches us to think broadly about the possibilities of creativity. It teaches us to think and plan critically,
but also to experiment and take risks.
And most importantly, art gives us a deeper awareness of ourselves and makes us better, more reflective,
more sensitive human beings.
