Vishwa is from India and is now working as an engineering assistant in Singapore’s
Precision Engineering industry.

Vishwa believes that art can be taught and learned and it is the word “Creativity” that
makes the difference in paintings. He started painting about 4 years ago, initially
copying paintings from masters leisurely and later moved on to formal art training which
allowed him to understand more in-depth knowledge about color, drawing , concept
and aesthetics through exploration of different subjects like landscape, still life and
figure. He is now working with oil and acrylic, occasionally with watercolor and pastels
too. Claude Monet, Edgar Degas, Van Gogh  and Klimt are his major influences, being
particularly intrigued by their passion for art.

In Vishwa's personal art, he is inspired by his surroundings, ranging from people,
places to differences in cultures. To him the process of putting an idea on canvas
involves creativity, thinking of possibilities, looking at their details and developing ideas
from there. He is presently working on a series of paintings influenced by Indian culture
and dance.
In the long run, he  wishes to devote full time to art and setup his own studio.
