Day 1    Singapore – Hanoi
Depart on SQ176 at 1000, arriving Hanoi at 1230
Meet guide on arrival and transfer to hotel for check-in.
Afternoon walking tour in the Old Quarter; set-up for painting/sketching around Hoan
Kiem Lake
Evening visit the art galleries around the lake area
Dinner at local restaurant

Day 2    Hanoi
Morning visit Bat Trang pottery village – in the trade for over 500 years
Set-up for painting/sketching
Lunch at local restaurant
Afternoon visit Mr Dao Anh Khanh’s studio – Mr Khanh is a surrealist painter and
performance artist, and a member of the Vietnam Fine Arts Association
Later walk across the Long Bien Bridge for a view of the city on both sides of the Red
River , and set up for painting/sketching
Dinner at local restaurant
Overnight in 3-star hotel

Day 3    Hanoi – Halong
Morning depart with driver for drive to Halong Bay , a stunning limestone archipelago
comprising nearly 2000 islands and islets. Board the cruise boat – a modern
motorized junk – and have lunch as cruise begins. Afternoon cruise the bay with stops
on some of the islands.
Dinner and overnight onboard.

Day 4    Halong – Hanoi
Morning wake up for sunrise over the bay.
Visit Luon Cave – a limestone grotto on one of the larger islands
Breakfast and lunch on board, while cruising back to Halong
Disembark and drive back to Hanoi
Visit Hanoi Fine Art Museum before returning to your hotel for check-in.
Dinner at local restaurant
Overnight in 3-star hotel

Day 5    Hanoi – Singapore
Free morning, then check-out and transfer to airport
Depart on SQ175 at 1315, arriving back in Singapore at 1715
